Guests joining the Ultimate Antarctic Adventure must have a reasonable level of physical fitness. Significant mobility limitations or severe health conditions may prevent participation.
All guests travelling onboard Icebird must complete a medical questionnaire prior to booking confirmation.
Due to the remote nature and limitations of operating from a small sailing yacht, Terra Nova Expeditions and Icebird operators reserve the right to decline participation if a guest’s medical or physical condition is deemed unsuitable for safe participation.
Cabin Types:
Double Private Cabin: Guest booking Double Private will have a private double-occupancy cabin on both the Terra Nova Adventurer and Icebird. Cabins feature two lower single beds on the Terra Nova Adventurer and a double bed on Icebird. Both cabins with their own en-suite bathroom.
Quad Share Cabin: Guests booking Quad Share will have either an upper or lower berth in a quad cabin on the Terra Nova Adventurer. On Icebird, solo travellers will be assigned an upper or lower berth, while two guests travelling together will share a double bed. On both vessels, cabins accommodate a total of four guests, each cabin has a private en-suite bathroom.
Solo Private Cabin: Guest booking Solo Private Cabin will have a private single-occupancy cabin on both the Terra Nova Adventurer and Icebird. Cabins feature two lower single beds on the Terra Nova Adventurer and a double bed on Icebird. Both cabins with their own en-suite bathroom.
