Hi! we’re your trip hosts Mark & Jorden! We excited to spend New Years at the bottom of the Earth with you. Ice dipping, zodiacs, snowshoeing, penguins, we can’t wait! It’s going to be best New Years of our lives!

WHAT TO EXPECT

For the past four years, we’ve been chasing adventure together—cameras in hand, passports full of stamps, and hearts wide open. Now, it’s your turn to join us on the ultimate journey: an unforgettable 12-day expedition to Antarctica.

This isn’t just a trip. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience where we’ll explore one of the most remote, wild, and stunning places on Earth together—as friends, adventurers, and creators.

  • We’ll be sailing aboard the RMS St Helena, a world-class expedition ship equipped for polar exploration. Together, we’ll:

    • Cross the Antarctic Circle, pushing further south than most ever do.

    • Cruise through iceberg-laced waters and past majestic glaciers.

    • Set foot on pristine, untouched shores for up-close wildlife encounters with penguins, seals, and more.

  • Every day brings something new:

    • Zodiac landings & cruises to explore remote coves and icy coastlines.

    • Kayaking in surreal silence through glassy Antarctic waters.

    • Snowshoeing across snowy terrain for a true polar explorer’s view.

    • An onboard sailing experience with Spirit of Sydney for a one-of-a-kind look at the continent.

  • We’ve spent the last five years turning our passion for travel and storytelling into full-time careers, and we’re here to help you do the same. Whether you’re curious about creating content, building your online presence, or just want to snap the best photos of penguins, we’ll be your go-to guides.

  • Because we want to make this feel like a shared adventure—a group of like-minded explorers making memories in one of the most surreal corners of the planet.
We’ll be with you every step of the way.

    So the real question is...
Who will be joining us at the bottom of the world?

    Let’s make it epic.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Ushuaia, Argentina

Board the RMS St Helena in the afternoon and meet your expert expedition team and lecturers. After settling into your cabin, the ship sets sail through the Beagle Channel and Mackinlay Pass. Take in the breathtaking scenery of rugged coastlines and sea cliffs as your Antarctic adventure begins.

DAY 2-3: Crossing the Drake passage

Cross the legendary Drake Passage, named after Sir Francis Drake, where cold polar waters meet warmer currents, creating a rich ecosystem that attracts seabirds like albatrosses, petrels, and shearwaters.

Enjoy the RMS St Helena’s open bridge policy, learning about navigation, whale watching, or soaking in the horizon. Meanwhile, the lecture team will share insights on Antarctica’s history, geology, and wildlife.

By Day 3, you’ll spot the South Shetland Islands, first discovered in 1819 by Captain William Smith. Weather permitting, you may step ashore to encounter penguins and seals.

DAYS 4-9: Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula & Venturing below the Antarctica Circle

Explore the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, where icebergs, glaciers, and dramatic landscapes define the polar wilderness.

Adventure Highlights:

  • Kayaking: Paddle through icy waters with seals and penguins.

  • Snowshoeing: Trek snowy ridges for stunning views.

  • Zodiac Cruises: Navigate ice-filled waters for close wildlife encounters.

Sail through iconic passages like the Gerlache Strait and Lemaire Channel, with expert guides crafting each expedition based on conditions. Experience true exploration, beyond the crowds, with opportunities for wildlife sightings like penguins, seals, and whales. This is a genuine expedition to the Polar Circle—where discovery awaits.

DAY 10-11: Crossing the Drake passage

Say goodbye to the icy wilderness as the Polar Sky embarks on its return journey across the Drake Passage. Reflect on the incredible sights and adventures of the past days.

Attend final lectures and workshops or unwind on deck, keeping an eye out for seabirds and marine life. Conclude your Antarctic expedition with a farewell dinner on the final evening.

DAY 12: Ushuaia, Argentina
